Four phases, not one long to-do list
Morning routines, a Work phase with a configurable time budget, a Cool-down that winds the day off, and a Life phase for hobbies and rest. The home screen only shows habits for the phase you're in, so the list is always short.
Habits that shape themselves
Describe a goal in plain words and the app drafts the habit: when, what time, what reminder, and three to five tiny ordered steps, each worth XP on its own. Small steps are the point; "go to the gym" starts with "pack a bag the night before".

Forgiveness is a mechanic
Streaks come with shields that absorb a missed day, and any habit can be paused indefinitely without shame. A missed day fades the habitat slightly; it never resets your progress.
A hard stop on work
The Work phase has a budget. Break reminders run at your chosen interval, warnings land at 15 and 5 minutes before the budget ends, and finishing on time gets a full-screen celebration. Working past it drains the blob's energy and triggers at most three gentle nudges, then the app lets you be.
Soft check-ins
Mornings open and evenings close with a short conversational check-in: how did you sleep, what's sitting on your mind, what's one small thing to carry into tomorrow.

A small economy
Completions earn XP (kept forever, drives the blob's level) and coins (spent in a cosmetics shop). A daily treasure chest unlocks after three habits, with rarity-weighted drops: streak shields, XP boosts, cosmetics. Nothing purchasable affects gameplay.
